Ultrabalm is best #tattips
reviews shall be posted in a day or two. Today I picked up two Secret Garden bath bombs and a Mumkin bubble bar. I will not be posting reviews on Madame Butterfly, The Mum or Mum Tulip as reusable bubble wands are my least favorite LUSH product.

Buffy
body butter
the product
Originally named “Buffy the Backside Slayer”, this body butter is known for being tough on rough bottoms. The rough texture eliminates lumps and bumps and sloughs away dry skin to reveal brighter, fresher looking skin. There is no need for body lotion after a Buffy slaying session, because the cocoa and shea butters keep your skin smooth, moisturized and soft to the touch.
the ingredients
• ground almonds: softens and soothes the skin; polishes dry or sensitive skin
• cocoa butter: softens the skin
• shea butter: penetrates the skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth
the results
With ground aduki beans, almonds and rice, Buffy really does exfoliate and polish the skin. So much so that some people may think it is too abrasive. I find myself to be a member of that category. I am all about a good exfoliation, but Buffy just downright hurts. Buffy also leaves my skin extremely moisturized. The cocoa and shea butters penetrate the skin, leaving it soft and smooth until your next shower. However, Buffy does have the tendency to leave behind an oily residue from all of those moisturizing ingredients. The residue does soak into the skin after a while, though. When dry Buffy has a very nice light citrus scent. Unfortunately when wet, the bar takes on a lemon-y household cleaner smell to me. However, I’m pretty sure that is just my nose, as I have not met anyone else who has had the same experience.
the verdict
Personally, Buffy is not my favorite, but it is truly a great product. It delivers on every single point it hopes to achieve. I recommend Buffy to anyone who is interested in trying a body butter, or anyone who suffers from dry skin. I would not recommend this product to you if you tend to have sensitive skin as I feel the exfoliation would be too rough on the skin.
